HSL-2 Halogen Spectral Lamp

HSL-2 Halogen Spectral Lamp

The HSL-2 halogen light source is a state-of-the-art spectral lamp with an integrated shutter and an industry standard FSMA-coupler to connect optical fiber light guides. This spectral lamp distinguishes itself from all others because of its easy usage and very low optical output fluctuations over the entire spectral emission range. The mechanical shutter permits to close the light output in order to perform a dark current measurement or to protect a photosensitive sample by illumination. The shutter can be opened and closed manually or automatically controlled by TTL signal.

The HSL-2 halogen light source is used especially for film thickness measurement in connection with our TranSpec-DSP spectrometer.
