TranSpec 2000 Software
for plasma emission measurement

TranSpec 2000 is a convenient and easy-to-use spectroscopy software running on Windows 2000/XP and has been designed for the capabilities of our TranSpec-DSP spectrometers. TranSpec 2000 permits to easily configure and execute various different measurement tasks on a TranSpec-DSP spectrometer. The software is suitable especially for in-line plasma emission monitoring, but also for film thickness measurements in the lab.

The picture below shows an exemplary window configuration of TranSpec 2000 for plasma emission monitoring. The chart on the left displays the currently measured emission spectrum, the two charts on the right display the trend of two different emissions lines to be observed.

The two horizontal lines in the trend charts indicate an upper and lower emission intensity limit, for which a corresponding TTL output signal will be set at the TranSpec-DSP spectrometer as soon as the currently measured emission intensity exceeds one of these limits. Thus, a simple process gas flow control can be setup this way.
